Obviously, there is a lot more to this than what 'Robin' would have us believe. I cant understand how any caring mother would leave 4 kids in the middle of the night for anything other than a life or death emergency. I heard about Janet Hossain before she was murdered and she was definately 'no angel' ...apparently her husband divorced her after she had a lesbian affair! it seems, as her neighbours said, that after changing her religion she dived headlong into parties, drugs and promiscuity!! I also heard that she sold drugs for a time as well! Even though it is a tragic end for anyone I personally feel the world is better off without one less drug dealer!

i understand that murder is not justfied however she was infatuated with him under no circumstances was westley bothered that janet PRETENDED to have another man why would he as a women of that age why would u play silly little school girls games. i hear ur point of the strangling her but u keep saying things that are not true and only correct urself when they are picked out by myself and u are trying to place another person in this situtaion the intellingent individual that is want we call slunder in this country. if you read the statements properly than these fabications would be posted correctly.u need to understand the real depth of janets obsession with westley. i understand u are fully hurting and will for a long time but lying slunder and discrimation is not the way forward and just wait until sept to hear the truth at trial then relay the thruth rather than the lies than u can blot properly

I cannot read into the hearts of the judges who kept extending the hearing dates. I cannot prove discrimibation on their part and it may well be in my mind.

The police however did make those terrible statements.

And regardless of what was going on with Janet and westley - Murder is still Murder.

We cannot kill people who annoy us (even if they really annoy us) and then expect to get away with it.

Natalie, the police issue was put to the police to investigate.

He didn't go partying but did make some phone calls for such after he killed her - he went swimming instead. He did drive with her in the trunk - don't know for how long . He also texted himself from her phone after he killed her to support a story that he had dropped her off somewhere to get some food. He did tell her that her parents will be wondering where she is a week or so before he killed her.

I agree, it appears Janet was somewhat infatuated with him and apparently pretended she was with someone else for some reason and this may have triggerred him off.

Nonetheless he strangled her to death and snapped her hyoid bone in the process, bagged her in a laundry bagged, dragged her body down the stairs in the bag and then put her in the trunk of her car the morning after he killed her.

There are other witnesses to his actions and his statements pointing to an intelligent individual who knew what he was doing.

Whatever the reason, murder is murder - and if he was not insane at the time - he deserves to be killed the same way.

westley did not lure janet anyway she left her three young child to go and see man for the oblivious reason. if anyone that knew these people would understand to depth that janet went for westley like following him around turning up at friends and families property whether the police had been moking her father that is clearly ur issue to take up with the police. i cant confirm that westley was not at anytime driving around with her in the trunk and over that week never went to any party so before u make up random accusations please get it right slander is not a good look and the reason i now this is a westley was with me. seriously we know it was a tragic loss to you all however slander aint getting you anywhere. please ask yourself this question if janet was so scared of westley than why the hell did she leave her three child to go and meet this monster u are trying to make out. what scared person would go and put themselves in danger i know u dont like to hear this but the truth is that janet had strong feelings for this boy and would generally do what she could to be with him but it backfired and she fucked up his head. and any issue u have need to be addressed cause this aint no race or religious case seriously just cause the case aint as straight forward as u would like it to be u are trying to play like it is some social discrimanation when it aint.

Westley strangled Janet to death after luring her from her home with odd text messages after threatening to make her disappear a week earlier. He then rang his friends up to go partying and drove around for days with her in the trunk. Now he's pleading not guilty to murder.

When the police mockingly ask her father if she has a beard like him (so that they can help find her) - together with other such comments - then if this isn't racial/religious prejudice - what is?

What has been posted above is BS, Westley is half white himself and to say that the delays have been due to his ethnicity is crap! He himself has admitted to his crime and no human being has the right to take another's life and I don't want to speak ill of the dead, but why was she not at home looking after her children like the good, muslim woman this site is attempting to protrait her as?? Just leave Westley alone, to do his time and wait for justice to be served!

i hate to break it to u however if that was the case the prison system would not shut down on a friday for pray time and westley aint in no holiday camp he is not sitting there on remand with these great lavish privileges that u are all going on about.so shockingly race has nothing to do with this case people with small absent minds are to quick to play the race card or the religion card but u people have to take a good long hard look at the bigger picture and understand that there r many factors behind this and fortunately it aint them. cause if that is the case both janet and westley fall in to the ethic minority group and so does half the prison system. u may think that justice needs to be serve in the upmost god for saking way but i do hope by the end all this that people understand the deep truth that lend upto this unfortunate event but the grass aint alway greener on the other side.

The british judicial system has never worked for the benefit of ethnic minorities but I do have faith in then system. Obviously its better for Mr. Ibe to sit on remand for as long as he can rather than on a prison sentence. He gets more privileges on remand....more than Janet has.
She deserves justice and she will have it. For some of us the feeling of loss is ever present and there can be no relief until justice is served for her sake.

Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately I am privy to a number of highly Islamaphobic and racist statements made by those invested with trust within the system. Sadly, it has become shockingly clear that race and religion played a huge factor in this case from the beginning of the police investigation. This has been an ongoing internal investigation.

just because westley mother is white does not mean that it will effect this situtation. as due to the highy populated areas of east london and the rest of the country the asian population has greatly increased in the last ten to twenty years to the ratio of 1:10 that is is asian to the white bristish person. there is no edivances that the theory that muslims are not being protected by the british justice system. this case has nothing to do with race creed gender or anything else apart from the fact yes westley did do the crime and yes janet is not here today but to claim it is down to race is just not socially correct.

She was brutally strangled by Wesley Ibe a native of East London of paternal Nigerian descent and white English maternal descent. Even though he has confessed to strangling Janet to death - no murder trial date has been set by the juducial system. The judicial system instead is allowing Wesley's defense every delay tactic and every argument. The general feeling is that because Wesley is Christian (who actually confessed his crime in church before eventually handing himself in) and because his mother is white - that there is an apparent bias against the victim (who is of asian descent from a Muslim family). Even the prosecution police team are shocked at the delays.

After some further searching I see that Cecil Stanley Physick was born in Somerset County, England about 1883. In the 1901 British Census he is working as a footman in at a home in Devon county, England. He immigrated to the US on 28 June 1906 through New York. No sign of him until the 1920 US Census where he is living with his wife Ester, in Glen Cove, NY. I would imagine you are correct that he was loyal. Since he continued working in this type of field he must have had a calling to that type of work. It wouldn't be the best paying of careers but if he loved the work sometimes money isn't everything. It appears he died in April of 1966 in Kings Park, New York. His death record is listed in the Social Security Death Index under Cecil Physick. One would guess that there were many interesting things that he was witness to. Of course being loyal enough to risk his life he wouldn't be the type to speak or write about it.

Oooh -- good find. If he was an English butler of the old school, he probably was pretty loyal. Physick is the sort of servant who probably heard some truly intriguing things in his time. Too bad he didn't write a memoir or something.

I haven't found any proof of his employer in 1930 but the WWI draft registration for Physick lists his job as Steward for his employer J.P. Morgan. The registration is dated September 12, 1918 over three years after the attack. I would assume that it wasn't only loyality to his employer which kept him working for the Morgan family.

I've a feeling Physick was pretty happy with his job. He was still at the same Glen Cove address some 15 years after the attack on Morgan and he was still a butler, so I imagine he was still with Morgan.

A man wanted for killing his wife, going on to commit political/terrorist crimes...as you say, that in itself is unusual, the two normally require very different profiles.
Could a crime like this be committed today? I suppose DNA and other scientific progress would mean that a link would have made more quickly.
I hope Morgan sufficiently rewarded the butler.
